Have you ever seen a pink diamond? Take a look at this page again. Yes, she is one of a kind, formed from the most elegant elements this world could offer, creating a genuine, timeless woman, but she doesn't have rough edges like diamonds do, she has a soft personality that everyone is captivated. Behind her kikay accessories are unseen jewelries, a golden voice on her neck, a shiny passion for art on her hands, rubbies embeded on her foot that is always ready to take steps to come and help when you are in need, expensive eyes that could melt even your hardest problems and most especially formed from her face is a smile that could change your day, the only curve that could set things straight, just say her name and you will be unconciously smiling. So if ever you are in need of honey, you won't find any lady like Auvrey lee...

Diy azpec print

Today, people are gaga for azpec prints. I'm doing a diy azpec iphone holder. But it's not yet done! I'll have to leave it dry overnight, so I can't sew it yet. I used an acrylic white paint to do my own azpec print on a black cloth. I'll show the finish product as soon as I'm done!

My birthday! July 05, 2012

Hi! My boss was nice enough to approve my birthday leave that I requested. :)

So my boyfriend and I planned the whole day's celebration. In the morning we ate breakfast at mcdonalds and we went to the salon to get pedicure, hair cut and hair color. After that we watch a movie "the amazing spiderman" it was great! I wonder why people say it was boring when infact my bf and I found it cool to see the real story of spiderman. After the movie we went to marquee mall and ate krespe kreme while waiting for my sister to finish her meeting.

My boyfriend treated the whole family at racks sm pampanga for my birthday. It was my family's first time to eat there. :) while my bf and I can't remember how many times we ate there already.

I had a great birthday. It was a simple celebration but full of happiness and love! Just the way I want my birthday to be celebrated. ^.^

My boyfriend and I went to manila to buy this newoil for his car. We met this sales person he saw on facebook at waltermart. After that we went to trinoma, we saw these mac and clinique stand. My eyes usually brigthen when ever I see beauty and make up stores. It's like the kikay's heaven. :) my bf encourage me to look for a mac lipstick shade that I want. I was thinking this is expensive it isn't on my budget. Even the sales person didn't bother asisting us, we look like we don't have money for it. Lol! But my bf insisted on looking for the pink shade I want and then the saleslady showed us the pink nouveau. I fell in love instantly. My boyfriend ask the saleslady to give us that shade and he paid for it! It was his mission to find me a gift that's why he wants to go at trinoma. Haha it's really pretty. :)

Quick and simple nail art

Very simple nail art design...
You'll find that marquee metro department store offers many nail art accessories and tools in a very low price. Do check them out and enjoy doing your own nail art. :) i bought 2 dotting tools with different round tip size for only 55php.

Braided hair

I usually have my hair in braids if I don't have time to style it loose. But it gives a neat look and I don't have to worry about my hair the whole day. :)

On being kikay...

Hey kikay gals!

During my college years I was known for being kikay. What is kikay any way? Someone described me and I think it was the best description of who I am as a person. Especially as a kikay.

Here it goes...

Have you ever seen a pink diamond? Take a look at this page again. Yes, she is one of a kind, formed from the most elegant elements this world could offer, creating a genuine, timeless woman, but she doesn't have rough edges like diamonds do, she has a soft personality that everyone is captivated. I want this so bad!

Hi kikay girls!
I found this iron curler in sm pampanga department store. It's a panasonic curling iron. This will definitely give a luscious big curls. I'm still saving money for it though. It's 3000 pesos. My bf asked me why spend so much on beauty products. That moment I should have ask him "Why spend so much on car accessories?" Of course his a guy, he can't understand a girl's needs the way girls can't understand guys obssession on cars. Lol I'll give a review on this product when I finally have it. ^.^

Cherry blossom nail art

Very easy to make compare with the cupcake nail art. You can see alot of tutorials on you tube. Try some! You don't need to go to a nail art salon and pay so much when you can do it yourself. Do simple ones first and then practice on complex design later. Try doing polka dots. Very easy! All you need is a dotting tool and nail polishes.

Ear bud pouch

I did a tutorial from "dog under my desk" but it didn't turn the same as his. It look like a coin purse. Haha But it looks decent though.

The yellow floral dress...

My mom have so many clothes most from mango, plains and prints, kamiseta, bayo, f&h, and maldita.

But she has this beautiful yellow floral dress that I really like.

After begging and begging she finally gave it to me. But the dress was too big for me. That didn't stop me of course!

All I need is my sewing machine! After 1 whole day of altering the dress it finally fits me!

I'm going to wear it tomorrow! Haha

Flare to skinny!

You don't need to throw away your bootleg/flare jeans.

Here is a simple tutorial on how to alter your flare pants into a skinny pants.

You don't need to be a professional to do this one.

You'll need:
1. Sewing machine
2. Tailor's chalk
3. Pins
4. Scissors
5. Flare jeans

Get one of your favorite skinny jeans. You'll use it as a pattern and trace it on the flare jeans.

After tracing secure it by using pins so when your sewing, it won't move.

Sew twice so it wont rip when you wear the jeans.

Before cutting, fit the jeans first. And when you like the fit you can now cut and seam the edges already.

Very easy right?!

How to mend a broken eyeshadow palette...

Every kikay gals love their eyeshadow palette.
But what if you accidentally drop it on the floor!??
Will you dispose it and buy a new one?

Don't throw it!
Because you can mend your broken palette as easy as one two three!

Here is my favorite eyeshadow palette... =(

This is how it looks like after I heard that loud "thud" (cry cry)
I was fearing the worst but still hoping against hope that everything's alright. But the moment I opened it, I started having a sickening feeling. It was so heartbreaking that I didn't use my eyeshadow palette for a very long time.

After weeks and weeks of not wearing any eyeshadow, I found out that there is hope!
I was so happy to see a tutorial video for mending broken eyeshadow palette. It was so easy!

Grind the eyeshadow to have a powder consistency before adding few drops of alcohol.

After adding few drops of alcohol, mix it by using your toothpick. When the eyeshadow and alcohol are mix well, get a thick tissue (thick so it won't break) and your coin to press it. Press it well so it will stick all together again.

As easy as one two three... =)
Yey! I'm just so happy it's fix!

Do it with your broken eyeshadow palettes!

My DIY sewn cd holder!

From my old t-shirt I made a sewn cd holder. I put all my favorite Cd's there!

Tweak tweak tweak

These past few days, I had so much free time that out of boredom I looked inside my closet and found this blue polka dots raffled dress that I have for almost 6 years. I love polka dots! I only worn it for 2 times because the dress wasn't flattering on me. My mission is to modify this dress into something more snazzy! I forgot to take a picture of the dress. But I made a sketch so you'll have an idea what changes I made. I already cut the sleeves when I realized I didn't take a photo. I have an addiction for skirts. Specially for raffled ones. That's why I didn't make any alteration to it. The only change I made was I cut it off from the dress. Cutting it to have 2 pieces of garments can make me wear the top and skirt separately or I can wear it together and still look like a dress. The blouse is what needs to be tweak. I cut off the raffled sleeves and as much as I like raffles, it was too much. It made my frame look huge. So the sleeves are history. After cutting the sleeves, I was stuck. I didn't know what to do with it. So I stop. After 2 days I grab the blouse and decided to work on it again. I was happy on what I did with the back part. I want to put a drama at the back because the front was too simple. I usually act out of instinct but not all the time my instinct works. I put a garter for it to cling on my waist, which gives a bubble look on the blouse. I was planning to give a little change on the skirt. I wanted to make it a skorts. But I was afraid to take the risk of ruining the raffled skirt so I decided not to take that risk. Maybe on my next project I will do a skorts.
